Quantity Surveyor – Defence Project (Singapore)

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Cities and Places Business on a classified Defence project in Singapore. Based at the Jacobs Singapore Office (Gateway Bugis), you will support contract administration, progress payments and variation assessments while working closely with the Project Manager, client and third‑party contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts, evaluate progress and variation claims, and process extension of time and loss & expense notices.
• Prepare and certify monthly valuations, cash‑flow forecasts and cost reconciliation statements.
• Measure, negotiate and agree variations with the contractor, and assist in preparing cost estimates and change notices.
• Review contractor submissions for extra payments or extensions of time and provide recommendations to the Board.
• Attend site and virtual meetings, and support the preparation and agreement of final accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably on green‑field or defence projects.
• Singaporean nationality due to project clearance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge and application of Revit BIM (preferred).
