Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to manage the contractual and financial aspects of our smart home projects. You will ensure projects stay within budget, meet timelines, and achieve the highest quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for landed residential construction and renovation works.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations to track progress and verify claims.
• Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
• Assist in contract administration, including tender documentation and post‑contract management.
• Liaise with design and project teams to ensure cost‑effective solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, progress, and compliance.
• Provide cost advice and value‑engineering input during design and construction phases.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or landed residential projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
