Receptionist

About the role

The school is looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and staff. You will manage front‑desk operations, handle communications and support daily administrative tasks in a dynamic educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, parents, students and staff at the reception counter.
• Answer, direct and log incoming calls and enquiries.
• Manage deliveries, incoming/outgoing mail and general correspondence.
• Perform data entry, filing, record‑keeping and document tracking.
• Issue and track keys and access cards.
• Maintain stationery, office supplies and inventory, including stock monitoring and receiving deliveries.
• Support student administration by issuing certificates, collecting forms and handling student enquiries.
• Provide basic first aid to sick or injured students and prepare early dismissal forms.
• Manage lost‑and‑found items and keep accurate records.
• Undertake ad‑hoc duties as assigned by school management.

Required profile

• GCE ‘O’ Level or higher, or NITEC qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of general administrative experience in a school setting.
• Secondary school reception experience is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
• Customer‑service orientation with a warm, professional attitude.
