Regional Financial Controller – APAC

About the role

This regional Financial Controller position supports multiple APAC entities, combining hands‑on financial control with strategic business partnering. You will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen governance, improve processes, and embed financial discipline across complex operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial control and month‑end close for multiple APAC entities.
• Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Partner with regional finance teams and senior stakeholders on financial matters.
• Oversee cash flow planning, intercompany activities, and working capital.
• Drive process improvements across systems, reporting, and controls.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing regional finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant finance experience with regional exposure, including early years in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and APAC tax environments.
• Proven experience in financial control, compliance, and governance.
• Ability to operate hands‑on while influencing senior stakeholders.
• Track record of leading, coaching, and developing finance professionals.
