Regional Trade Finance Project Specialist, IBG Operations

About the role

DBS is hiring an AVP/Senior Associate, Regional Trade Finance Project Specialist for its Group Operations (IBG Operations) team, reporting to the Group COO. The role is based at DBS Asia Gateway and focuses on digitizing operations for OAT products, Generative AI and ecosystem/platform partnerships. It is a full-time regular position.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in Regional IBG Ops projects from inception, planning, information gathering to implementation
• Join project cadence meetings with business owners from GTS and IBG and country operations teams to understand requirements and processes
• Analyse business requirements and write user stories for operations digitization
• Partner with country operations, GTS, IBG relationship managers and the technology team on solutions and operationalization
• Help prepare test plans and run functional testing and UAT, managing several projects at once
• Prepare training materials and run training sessions for country operations
• Use data dashboards to track digital adoption and improve OAT journeys and Straight Through Processing rates
• Take part in pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support, including end-user live verification

Required profile

• Proven project management experience, in waterfall or agile models
• Ability to turn customer requirements into user stories, test strategies and test cases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good work ethic, adaptable to change and able to deliver within tight timelines
• Able to work independently and adapt to dynamic circumstances

Required skills

• Knowledge of trade systems and experience as a system end user is advantageous
• Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint are advantageous
