About the role

The Singapore University of Social Sciences is seeking a candidate for a renewable 1-year contract appointment as a Research Engineer within its University Research Office. The role focuses on designing and maintaining multi-agent systems and integrating AI and LLM capabilities.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain multi-agent system architectures and inter-agent communication protocols.
Implement core algorithms for data processing, scoring and decision-making logic.
Integrate LLM APIs and build automated text-processing pipelines.
Program integration hooks for system notifications and external application deep-links.
Carry out system testing, optimization and software bug fixes.

Required profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
Experience with AI/LLM integration frameworks and system microservices.
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and software performance tuning.
Strong analytical, bug-fixing and algorithmic problem-solving skills.
