Research Fellow – Catalysis Membranes

About the role

The School of Materials Science and Engineering at NTU seeks a Research Fellow to advance membrane catalysis technologies, focusing on nanochannel material design, ionic and molecular transport device fabrication, and system‑level applications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and porous materials for nanochannel fabrication and conduct related research work.
• Perform comprehensive material analyses, including density measurement, microstructure examination, and mechanical/thermal property testing.
• Draft technical reports and manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
• Maintain specialized equipment and coordinate procurement with external suppliers.

Required profile

• PhD in membrane science, chemical engineering, materials science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in membrane separation and catalysis.
• Familiarity with two‑dimensional and porous materials.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
