Resident Engineer – Construction (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to join a leading construction team in Singapore. You will provide engineering support throughout project execution, ensuring that works meet technical, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings and Building Control requirements.
• Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Provide technical support to the Superintending Officer / Professional Engineer as required.
• Review contractors’ temporary works for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor work procedures against approved method statements and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements, recommending improvements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and identify defects or non‑conformities.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.

Required profile

• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) certificate in Singapore (mandatory).
• 3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Good knowledge of building regulations, safety requirements and construction practices.
• Strong communication, coordination and site‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and manage multiple priorities.
