About the role

Woodlands Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Resident Physician to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient‑centred care within a chosen medical discipline under the supervision of senior specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care to diverse patient populations, adapting to fast‑changing situations.
• Apply sound clinical judgement and manage patients using at least three years of experience as a Medical Officer.
• Utilise postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Master’s, diplomas, specialty training) to handle complex cases.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team, both spoken and written in English.
• Ensure all practice complies with Singapore Medical Council standards and maintain active registration.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, junior doctor training, and service expansion projects.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) with full registration or eligibility for registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Medical Officer in a relevant clinical setting.
• Postgraduate qualifications such as a Master’s degree, diploma, or specialty training in the chosen discipline.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
