Sales Account Manager – Genomics Services

About the role

We are seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to expand our discovery genomics services. The role combines sales expertise with a strong understanding of genomics to build relationships with healthcare, academic and research customers and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets in the genomics market.
• Identify and engage key stakeholders in healthcare, academia and research institutions.
• Generate leads through cold calling, warm outreach and innovative prospecting methods.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle from quote to delivery.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecast sales and provide regular progress updates.
• Collaborate with marketing and business teams to align campaigns with sales objectives.
• Stay current on genomics trends and product developments to effectively communicate value to customers.
• Support additional projects and tasks as needed to ensure team success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience with a record of meeting targets.
• Demonstrated knowledge of genomics or life‑science services.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Next generation sequencing (NGS) knowledge.
