Sales Application Engineer – Metrology

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Application Engineer specialized in Metrology to join our industrial automation solutions team in Singapore. You will act as the technical bridge between our product portfolio and customers, driving growth in manufacturing technology markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and commercial offers tailored to customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and agreements to achieve sales objectives.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable products and solutions based on application needs.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials, and proof‑of‑concept evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions that meet operational requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or engineering sales.
• Prior experience in industrial automation or engineering solutions is an advantage.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to undergo training on company sales processes and products.
