Sales Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Assistant Manager to support the Sales Manager in the daily operations of our store. The role involves driving sales performance, handling customer issues, and helping recruit and develop sales staff.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate the sales team, providing incentives to achieve targets.
• Monitor team performance and ensure store cleanliness and maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Identify opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions regularly.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and manage point‑of‑sale processes.
• Act as Sales Manager in their absence, handling all related duties.
• Consolidate daily action summaries for managers and track sales expenses.
• Update customer records in the company database.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible opening hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
