Secondary Teacher

About the role

Etonhouse International School is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher to deliver the Cambridge International curriculum across its island‑wide campuses in Singapore. The role focuses on fostering confidence, proficiency, and a love of learning while preparing students for success in external examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess curriculum aligned with Cambridge International standards.
• Develop critical and creative thinking through inquiry‑based lessons, experiments and observation.
• Prepare written progress reports, parent‑conference summaries and references for further education.
• Maintain accurate records of each student’s learning journey.
• Conduct effective parent conferences with detailed assessments and examples of student work.
• Collaborate with co‑teachers on daily planning and individual student needs.
• Uphold school codes of conduct, ensure student safety on‑site and during off‑site activities, and support pastoral care.
• Prepare assessments, mock exams and coursework as required by the syllabus.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops and adhere to safeguarding policies.
