Security Engineer – Cloud & SIEM

About the role

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join a fast‑growing cybersecurity firm supporting government and enterprise clients in Singapore. The role focuses on strengthening cloud‑based security operations, building detections, and automating incident response across modern environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance detections for SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence and cloud platforms.
• Support investigations by creating scalable security tools and integrations.
• Improve cloud security monitoring and response across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Build Python automations and workflows to streamline incident response.
• Collaborate with analysts and customers to optimise security processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SIEM, SOAR and Threat Intelligence solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong scripting ability in Python and a background in incident response.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
