Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford. Working in a dynamic hospitality setting, you will oversee the security control room, manage access points, and respond promptly to any safety or emergency incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Attend scheduled shifts and participate in daily pre‑ and post‑shift briefings.
• Operate and maintain company‑issued equipment such as Mobitalk, Bluetooth devices, torchlights, and pocket masks.
• Manage the Hotel Security Control Room and ensure accurate handling of official security documents according to SOPs.
• Control access points, monitor visitor, contractor, and vendor entry through the Visitor Management System.
• Oversee the Casual labor system for part‑timers and temporary staff.
• Monitor CCTV coverage, report any issues, and conduct static and roving patrols throughout the hotel, convention centre, and guest floors.
• Respond to security, safety, and medical emergencies, including participation in the Hotel Emergency Action Team (HEAT) and Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Conduct inventory checks of keys and passes, handle loss & found, and provide lift control and VIP assistance.
• Perform first aid, CPR, and AED administration when required, and resolve safe‑box and door‑lock issues promptly.

Required profile

• Availability to work according to rostered shifts and attend briefings.
• Ability to operate security equipment and systems accurately.
• Willingness to respond quickly to emergencies and perform first‑aid procedures.
• Strong vigilance at access points and visitor check‑in areas.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring and incident reporting.
• Operation of Visitor Management System and Casual labor system.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Key and pass inventory management.
