Senior Accountant (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage full sets of accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients in Singapore. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting cycles, ensuring compliance with local GST regulations and delivering high‑quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for multiple clients.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain balance‑sheet schedules and reconcile bank, intercompany and other accounts.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
• Record and review accounting transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information, resolve accounting matters and provide updates.
• Support audit, tax and statutory reporting by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Review junior team members’ work and provide guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification or progress toward one.
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, including managing full sets of accounts.
• Experience in an accounting, audit or professional‑services firm.
• Experience reviewing junior team members’ work.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore GST requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.
