Senior Analytics Manager (Geo and IoT)

About the role

Grab is seeking a Senior Analytics Manager to lead its Geo and IoT analytics initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Analytics, Fulfilment and Geo, you will guide a team of 5‑7 data scientists and turn raw data into actionable insights that shape products and business strategy across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing data science team, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.
• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and business teams to embed analytics into all aspects of the business.
• Translate complex data into clear strategies, driving business transformation in a fast‑changing market.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data‑related or quantitative roles, preferably in D2C/B2C environments such as marketplaces, logistics or fulfilment.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience leading and scaling data science teams.
• High agency, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong taste for quality data products.
• Proven ability to solve ambiguous business problems with innovative, beyond‑best‑practice solutions.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SQL.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Deep experience designing and executing experiments (A/B testing, time‑slice, advanced methodologies).
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling abilities for non‑technical audiences.
