Senior Android Engineer – Google Wallet

About the role

Google is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Google Wallet team in Singapore. You will design, develop, and launch innovative Android features that power digital wallets for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features and platforms for Google Wallet on Android, acting as the user’s digital “file system” for credentials.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to enhance existing functionality and ensure smooth integration for new partners.
• Own end‑to‑end development, from design through deployment, for high‑impact payment and credential services.
• Maintain and test large‑scale mobile applications, ensuring reliability and performance at massive scale.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of software programming experience in Java or Kotlin.
• Minimum 3 years of Android application development experience.
• Experience launching or maintaining large‑scale mobile products.
