Senior Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting

About the role

As a Senior Assistant Manager in Financial Reporting at SingHealth Community Hospitals, you will own month‑end and year‑end closing, produce management reports and support budgeting across a multi‑site healthcare network. You will work closely with finance leaders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Develop management reports with trend analysis to aid decision‑making.
• Conduct cost‑benefit assessments and support the annual budgeting cycle.
• Coordinate external and internal audit activities.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies and SOPs.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects and special assignments.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• At least 4 years of experience in financial closing, management reporting or a similar finance role.
• Membership in a recognised accounting body such as ISCA or ACCA (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Self‑starter who can manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Solid understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
