Senior Assistant Manager, Group Communications

About the role

Join SingHealth’s strategy and media team as a Senior Assistant Manager, Group Communications. You will shape and protect SingHealth’s reputation as a healthcare thought leader across Singapore, the region, and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Drive media relations for key SingHealth stakeholders, securing favourable coverage in local and international outlets.
• Develop strategic messages, prepare media materials, and advise internal teams on communications matters.
• Manage reputational risks with timely responses to emerging issues.
• Conceptualise and produce high‑quality content that amplifies SingHealth’s key messages.
• Identify and secure profiling opportunities for internal stakeholders, organising relationship‑building events with news media.
• Lead the planning and execution of signature events, overseeing project timelines, resources, and communications counsel.
• Contribute to daily media monitoring, reporting on healthcare news and assessing coverage impact.

Required profile

• Good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant communications experience.
• Strong news sense, an established media network and solid understanding of current affairs.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage projects, and collaborate as a resourceful team player.
• Willingness to support events outside regular office hours and be reachable for urgent media matters.
