Senior Associate, Relationship Manager - Consumer Products, Large Corporates, Institutional Banking

About the role

DBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with commercial banking products and services such as cash management, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. This Senior Associate, Relationship Manager position covers the Consumer Products, Large Corporates and Institutional Banking Group segments, based in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, identify and initiate account strategies to expand existing and develop new portfolios and build industry franchise within the assigned segment.
• Execute account plans by driving business development and collaborating with internal partners across geographies.
• Increase product penetration and cross-sell IBG services including capital markets, transaction banking and treasury, generating solutions and securing support from product groups.
• Submit RFPs, pitches, deal execution timelines, credit memos and supervision reports on time.
• Prepare financial models with P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions.
• Monitor accounts proactively, acting on credit deterioration or improvement, including elevating issues to senior bankers and credit.
• Undertake corporate finance analysis, including capital structure and valuation analysis using DCF and comparables.
• Negotiate loan and security documentation independently.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience as a Corporate Banker.
• Proven ability to originate new business leads and drive cross-sell and buy.
• Experience leading a regional business and connecting across multiple geographies.
• Proven credit skills and highly resourceful, with a team-player approach.
