Senior Associate/AVP, Institutional Sales - Cross Asset, Global Financial Markets

About the role

DBS is hiring a Senior Associate/AVP for its Institutional Sales team covering cross asset, global financial markets. The role is based at DBS Asia Central and involves selling multi-asset solutions to institutional clients such as banks, official institutions, security houses and external asset managers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide relationship and sales coverage to a portfolio of institutional flow-type clients, including banks, official institutions, security houses and external asset managers.
• Acquire and engage new non-bank institutional clients while growing the existing customer base.
• Engage clients across FX, interest rates, fixed income, derivatives, equities and customised solutions.
• Work closely with local and regional traders and research to recommend daily trade ideas for Asian government bonds, FX and IR derivatives, investment ideas and structured solutions.
• Engage institutional clients through face-to-face presentations and regular research seminars.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in global markets sales or structuring.
• Proven success in onboarding institutional client relationships and building strong engagement.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements, Asian market nuances and trends.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
