Senior Audit Lead – Singapore

About the role

The Senior Audit Lead provides independent third‑line assurance for ANZ's Institutional Business in Singapore and across the broader International network. Reporting to the Audit Director – Markets, International & Head of Audit – Singapore & SEA, the role leads and supports audit engagements, delivering evidence‑based assessments of governance, risk management and control effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements in Singapore and contribute to complex regional audits for the Institutional Business.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality audit delivery, manage budgets, and escalate delivery risks as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of MAS and international regulatory requirements and apply them to audit work.
• Support stakeholder management and communication of audit findings.
• Contribute to annual audit planning, risk identification, and scoping to focus on material risks and customer outcomes.
• Apply sound risk judgement and adhere to Internal Audit methodology and Global Internal Audit Standards.

Required profile

• Significant experience in internal audit, preferably within institutional banking.
• Strong understanding of MAS regulatory environment and international banking regulations.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage engagements end‑to‑end.
• Experience with audit planning, risk assessment and material risk identification.
• Ability to communicate audit findings clearly to senior business stakeholders.
