Senior Cloud Platform Solution Architect (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Solution Architect who is fluent in Japanese. The role is hybrid, requiring an average of two days per week on‑site at an HPE office. You will work within the Advisory & Professional Services, Strategy and Solution team to drive cloud platform growth and help enterprise customers transition to cloud‑native environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect custom, reusable solutions for program and enterprise scopes.
• Capture and share architectural intellectual property at the solution level.
• Define and enforce architectural governance across programs and operations.
• Lead architecture teams on medium to large, complex opportunities.
• Develop long‑term IT strategies and plans that are technically and operationally feasible.
• Assess business impact of multiple technologies and identify technical or operational risks.
• Provide reviews and input on large‑scale enterprise or global projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
• Deliver executive‑level sales presentations (CEO/COO/CIO) for complex opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of enterprise‑level experience.
• Strong consulting, design, and delivery background with hyperscaler platforms.
• Proficiency in Japanese language.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and lead cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Hyperscaler platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Enterprise virtualization: VMware, KVM.
• Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenShift.
• Application frameworks: Cloud Foundry, Spring, Rails, Elastic Beanstalk (AWS), Microsoft .NET.
• Web servers and platforms: WebSphere, Apache httpd, LAMP.
