Senior Consultant - Accounting & Reporting

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Accounting & Reporting practice. You will work on finance transformation and post‑merger integration projects, helping clients achieve purpose‑led growth and sustainable business practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own discrete pieces of a PMI or finance transformation workstream with limited oversight.
• Independently troubleshoot technical issues such as complex consolidation entries and carve‑out adjustments.
• Lead client discussions and respond to data requests directly.
• Review and guide the day‑to‑day work of Consultants and Analysts.
• Contribute to work‑plan and timeline inputs while proactively flagging project risks.
• Run a functional area’s Day 1 integration plan independently.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Post‑Merger Integration, Finance Transformation, M&A Advisory, Transaction Services or Management Consulting.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including financial reporting and consolidation.
