Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Advanced Energy is seeking a highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to drive quality, reliability and business intelligence across the enterprise. The role transforms customer quality, field reliability, manufacturing and corrective action data into actionable insights that improve customer satisfaction, product quality and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer complaints, RMAs, failure analysis reports and reliability data to identify trends, recurring issues and emerging risks.
• Monitor and report key quality and reliability metrics such as PPM, DTF, warranty performance, field returns and failure modes.
• Consolidate and analyze data from quality systems, manufacturing databases, corrective action systems and enterprise business tools.
• Develop automated dashboards, scorecards and KPI reports for leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews highlighting customer, product, supplier and reliability performance.
• Quantify financial impact of quality issues, including warranty, replacement, scrap and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Support 8D, CAR, CAPA and RCCA activities through fact‑based analysis and performance tracking.
• Partner with Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Reliability and Operations teams and present findings to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Experience applying statistical methods to identify trends and support root‑cause investigations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with quality, engineering, manufacturing and operations teams.
