Senior Electrical Engineer – Infrastructure & Building Services

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will act as the go‑to resource for complex, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure and building services projects. You will own the technical delivery from concept through to completion, shaping the energy networks of tomorrow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design for transport infrastructure and building projects, including high‑voltage systems.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers across all project phases – concept, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration and handover.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that meet client expectations.
• Maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project objectives.
• Manage project quality, schedule, and budget, acting as the person‑in‑charge or project manager when required.
• Sign off statutory submissions and certificates as the registered Qualified Person/Professional Engineer.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and standardise technical specifications for the company.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Electrical Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer (Electrical) in Singapore.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects across organisational boundaries.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Codes of Practice and authority submission processes (e.g., LTA, PUB, BCA, SCDF, SPPG, TFCC).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership in motivating and guiding multidisciplinary teams on mega‑projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electrical design software such as ETAP.
• Experience using Trace for system analysis.
• Familiarity with Dialux for lighting design.
