Senior Electronic Engineer – Embedded & PCB Design

About the role

Aurionpro Transit is seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer to join its hardware team. You will design and develop advanced electronic devices, including embedded systems and multi‑layer PCBs, for payment, fare collection and IoT applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, select components and create design specifications.
• Design, simulate and layout complex digital and analog circuits using Altium Designer.
• Develop firmware and embedded software, integrating hardware and software modules.
• Build and test prototypes, conduct functional validation and address design‑for‑manufacturing considerations.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation, BOMs and production guidelines for hand‑off to suppliers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in electronics, IoT and payment systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic or embedded system design.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end hardware development from concept to production.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Altium Designer for PCB design.
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, microcontrollers and power management.
• Experience with communication protocols such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, Bluetooth and NFC.
• Firmware/software development and programming for embedded platforms.
