Senior Executive / Senior / Assistant Manager, Medical Device Technology

About the role

SingHealth is looking for a Senior Executive, Senior or Assistant Manager in Medical Device Technology. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will provide administrative and operational support for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) activities for medical devices at one of SingHealth's institutions, supporting the cluster's strategic priorities. You will also work with the Biomedical Engineering shared services and IT security teams to ensure adequate risk oversight for medical devices and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collate and analyse information to support management decisions and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Work with Biomedical Engineering and IT security teams on risk oversight for medical devices and systems.
• Update the asset inventory and support the implementation of relevant standards and good practices for IoMT medical devices.
• Evaluate and execute work instructions and minimise risk for medical devices and systems.
• Provide secretariat support during meetings and take part in ad hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent; a recognised Diploma in Cybersecurity/IT is also considered.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT, operations and risk management with an understanding of medical devices and systems.
• Strong communication, administrative, organisational and management skills.
• Reliable team player, independent and committed.

Required skills

• Good understanding of IT and biomedical engineering processes and their relationship (an advantage).
• Good working knowledge of best practices for mitigating security risks for IoMT medical devices and systems.
• Experience in healthcare facility and/or government projects is an added advantage.
