Senior Front-End Software Engineer – React & TypeScript

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Front‑End) to design and deliver modern web‑banking applications. You will own key UI modules from concept through release, build reusable components, and ensure performance, accessibility, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement front‑end features using React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of user‑facing modules, from design to production release.
• Create reusable component libraries and integration patterns.
• Integrate UI with RESTful APIs and back‑end micro‑services.
• Optimize performance, security, accessibility and responsive behavior.
• Write unit and component tests; support end‑to‑end automation.
• Review code, enforce standards and troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to sprint planning, refinement and estimation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ReactJS development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of state‑management solutions such as Redux.
• Experience building responsive UI with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Hands‑on experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with front‑end testing (unit and component).
• Comfort with Git‑based workflows, CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum delivery.
