Senior Full Stack Engineer – Java & React

About the role

Capgemini Singapore is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise‑grade applications. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components, delivering secure, high‑performance solutions that meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack applications using Java, React, Lit, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build and support backend services, RESTful APIs, and micro‑services with Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
• Create responsive, accessible UI components and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Design and optimise database schemas, data models, and queries.
• Participate in solution design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, and operational improvements.
• Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and resilience.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in enterprise application development and full‑stack engineering.
• Strong background in Java‑based backend development and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile teams and participating in sprint ceremonies.
