Senior Full-Stack Engineer – React, Scala/Go

About the role

Gemini is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to design, build, and own trading‑system products across web, mobile, and backend layers. The role focuses on creating high‑performance web applications with React and TypeScript while also contributing to React Native mobile apps and backend services written in Scala or Go on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Own features from technical design through release, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Define frontend architecture, build reusable component libraries, and ensure performance, accessibility, and security.
• Contribute to React Native applications for iOS and Android.
• Develop and integrate backend services using Scala or Go, leveraging AWS infrastructure.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions, communicate trade‑offs, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship high‑quality products.
• Utilize AI‑assisted development tools while maintaining code quality and standards.

Required profile

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in large‑scale production environments.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, testing, and accessibility.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals and system‑design skills.
• Experience integrating web applications with APIs and distributed systems.
• Willingness to contribute to React Native and backend development.
• Proven ownership of complex projects from design to production.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and mentoring abilities.
