Senior Funds Lawyer – Associate/Counsel

About the role

An international law firm is expanding its Funds team and seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel to lead fund formation, structuring and downstream investment transactions. The role offers strong progression opportunities and involves advising on a wide range of asset classes and investment vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fund formation and regulatory advice for private equity, venture capital, data centre, private credit and closed‑end fund structures.
• Manage cross‑border investment transactions, liaise with fund managers and investors, and mentor junior associates.

Required profile

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE); junior partners from local firms are welcome.
• Proven experience in fund formation, fund regulatory matters and downstream VC work.
• Ability to independently run files, mentor associates and work across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong communication, legal analytical skills and interest in business development.
