Senior Manager, Measurement Science & Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead our optical radiometry and photometry activities. You will design, implement, and manage state‑of‑the‑art optical measurement systems that support Singapore’s national metrology capabilities and drive innovation across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform optical radiometry tasks such as spectral responsivity characterization of sensors, light‑source characterization, and material optical property measurement.
• Conduct photometry work including lighting characterization and color measurement.
• Develop and maintain optical measurement standards to meet industry needs.
• Design experiments, acquire data, and carry out detailed data analysis in the optical laboratory.

Required profile

• Degree in Optics, Physics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on experience with optics or physics experiments.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, innovation mindset, and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and capable of working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
