Senior M&E Engineer – Electrical Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior M&E Engineer to lead the electrical and ELV installations on our industrial projects in Singapore. The role combines on‑site supervision, technical design, and coordination with multiple trades to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in‑house supervisors and foremen, ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
• Attend coordination meetings with main contractors, consultants and other subcontractors.
• Provide hands‑on technical assistance for Electrical and ELV system installation, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Prepare material requisitions, work programmes and track project costs against budget.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and combined services testing for TOP/CSC, and hand over as‑built drawings and O&M documentation.
• Review 3D BIM models, verify installation details and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Participate in detailed design work including load calculations, voltage‑drop analysis, cable sizing, routing, shop drawings and equipment selection.
• Liaise with suppliers for quotations, technical and commercial evaluation, and manage purchase orders and timely delivery.
• Support tender preparation and contribute to new project proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in building construction, specifically in Building Services Electrical / ELV works.
• Proven project management ability to manage timelines, budgets and resources.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in tender bidding and cost analysis.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Relevant certifications from BCA/SCDF/PUB authorities are an advantage.
