Senior Network Engineer L3 – 1‑Year Renewable Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (Level 3) to design, implement and manage our LAN and WAN infrastructure in Singapore on a 1‑year renewable contract. The role will involve hands‑on configuration of Aruba switches, Fortinet and MikroTik firewalls, VPN services and multi‑cloud networking, ensuring high availability and security across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage LAN/WAN topology, including Aruba switching, VLAN provisioning and layer‑3 routing.
• Configure and maintain Fortinet and MikroTik firewall policies, NAT, CVE patching and security profiles.
• Implement SSL VPN and client VPN services, manage user profiles and monitor tunnel health.
• Administer DNS zones, DHCP scopes and IP address management across all environments.
• Set up load balancer rules, health checks and listener configurations.
• Manage cloud networking – security groups, routing and cloud VA firewalls – across multiple providers.
• Operate anti‑DDoS appliances and cloud‑based DDoS mitigation services.
• Monitor network performance and availability using Cisco DNA Centre and Cisco ThousandEyes.
• Conduct QoS monitoring, performance reviews and produce trend analysis reports.
• Maintain network security posture, respond to anomalies and support incident resolution (Level 2/3).
• Maintain documentation, runbooks and topology diagrams, and participate in change advisory processes.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with LAN/WAN design, Aruba switching, Fortinet and MikroTik firewalls.
• Hands‑on experience with VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPAM and load balancing technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, security groups, routing and virtual appliance firewalls.
• Knowledge of anti‑DDoS solutions and network monitoring tools such as Cisco DNA Centre and Cisco ThousandEyes.
• Ability to perform QoS monitoring, performance analysis and security compliance.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for network configuration.
