About the role

IHH Healthcare Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Nurse Manager to lead its Labour & Delivery (L&D) department. The role combines clinical expertise with operational leadership to ensure high‑quality patient care, staff development, and efficient resource management.

Key responsibilities

• Set unit goals and objectives in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Oversee induction, competency assessments, and continuous learning plans for nursing staff.
• Evaluate nursing care quality and implement improvements in care delivery.
• Facilitate review of occurrence reports and drive preventive actions.
• Monitor budget and consumable usage to ensure cost‑effective operations.
• Plan staffing schedules to match skill mix with patient acuity and census.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (post‑basic Midwifery qualification preferred).
• Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with full registration on the Singapore Nursing Board.
