Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps)

About the role

FINN is a fast‑growing fintech that provides early wage access, budgeting tools and micro‑insurances to under‑banked employees across Southeast Asia and Africa. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers our high‑throughput production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, identity, security) using Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, deployments and autoscaling.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates.
• Implement observability solutions: monitoring, alerting, logging and tracing for all services.
• Strengthen security posture through cloud security management, automated scanning and access policies.
• Operate multi‑cloud workloads and messaging infrastructure for event‑driven architectures.
• Standardise market launch processes to provision new environments in days.
• Support engineering teams with self‑service tooling and act as the go‑to infrastructure expert.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, resolve incidents and drive root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS primary) covering compute, networking, identity, storage and databases.
• Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes in production.
• Proven ability to write and review Infrastructure‑as‑Code at scale.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and implementing observability stacks.
