Senior Platform Engineer (Dynatrace)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer in Singapore. The role centres on installing, configuring and maintaining Dynatrace monitoring across Linux, Windows, Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms, and advising stakeholders on observability strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Dynatrace OneAgents across Linux, Windows, Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
• Set up synthetic monitoring, alert profiles, management zones and custom dashboards.
• Monitor multi-tier applications, cloud services and databases for availability and performance.
• Use Dynatrace Davis AI for root cause analysis and incident troubleshooting.
• Configure application detection rules, Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and alerting strategies.
• Create dashboards and reports for technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Configure Synthetic Monitoring and Real User Monitoring (RUM) to track user experience.
• Configure log analytics, log ingestion and anomaly detection.
• Integrate Dynatrace with Jira and ServiceNow, and automate workflows via Dynatrace REST APIs and scripting.
• Use PurePath tracing to find bottlenecks in microservices and application code.
• Support platform upgrades and maintenance, and advise on observability strategy and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with Dynatrace AppMon and platform administration.
• Experience deploying and managing observability solutions in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• ITIL IT service management knowledge and project management knowledge.
• Ability to work with development, DevOps and operations teams and to give consultancy advice.

Required skills

• Dynatrace Associate Certification and Dynatrace Professional Implementation Certification.
• Incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Scripting with Python and PowerShell.
