Senior Project Manager

About the role

Our client operates the world’s largest SWIFT Hub and is a leading player in SWIFTNet services for corporate clients. The Senior Project Manager will lead complex banking‑IT programmes, ensuring delivery against business commitments while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of programmes and projects, meeting scope, schedule and budget targets.
• Facilitate steering committees, work closely with product owners, security, solution architects and compliance teams.
• Prepare, consolidate and validate project estimates, schedules and resource plans.
• Maintain project cost control and manage vendor relationships, tracking maintenance budgets and offers.
• Gather high‑level business requirements, translate GFS to DFS, and support Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with BA and testing teams on SIT strategy, test cases and quality assurance.
• Support UAT, reproduce issues, monitor fixes and ensure successful release planning.
• Identify and remove impediments, recommend solutions and ensure compliance with WMIS governance, Secure Agile or SDLC frameworks.
• Provide regular updates to Division Manager and Domain Heads, and manage global steering committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in banking IT, using Agile development models.
• Strong stakeholder communication and vendor management capabilities.
