Senior Software Consultant – Java Full Stack (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. You will work on the design, development, and support of enterprise applications, primarily using Java and modern front‑end technologies such as React.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain critical modules using Java, J2EE, and React.
• Participate in software design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Write clean, production‑quality code and ensure continuous improvement of existing solutions.
• Deploy applications on IBM WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic, or Tomcat environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java, J2EE, micro‑services, and REST API development.
• Hands‑on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise messaging (ESB, MQ) and file transfer protocols (SFTP, HTTP).
• Experience with shell scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with JIRA and GitHub for version control and issue tracking.
• Strong communication and vendor management skills.
