Senior Storage Engineer

About the role

Smart IMS is looking for an experienced Senior Storage Engineer to design, build, configure, implement and support enterprise storage and data protection infrastructure in a high‑availability banking environment. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, server, network, security and operations teams to deliver resilient, secure storage services that meet strict availability, performance, recovery and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, deployment and operational support of SAN, NAS and Object Storage platforms.
• Administer storage technologies such as NetApp, Dell EMC PowerMax, Hitachi Content Platform and StorageGRID.
• Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, volume allocation, masking and host connectivity.
• Manage capacity, performance, availability and health of production storage environments.
• Configure and maintain Cisco and Brocade SAN switches, zoning and fabric health.
• Execute large‑scale data migrations across heterogeneous storage platforms.
• Conduct proactive capacity planning and performance tuning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Storage Engineer in enterprise or banking environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with SAN, NAS, Object Storage and Fibre Channel fabrics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex storage migrations and capacity management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for incident resolution and lifecycle management.
