About the role
The Senior Technical Sales Training Specialist will design, develop and deliver technical sales learning programs for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) and Greater China regions. Working within the Genetic Sciences Division Sales Development team, you will translate complex scientific concepts into engaging learning experiences that support product launches, onboarding and ongoing commercial excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of sales development programs in partnership with Business Units, Product Management and Marketing.
- Adapt global learning programs for APJ and Greater China while maintaining consistency.
- Identify capability gaps with stakeholders and implement targeted learning solutions.
- Design and deliver instructor‑led, virtual, digital and blended learning using adult‑learning best practices.
- Localise technical sales training for direct sales teams and channel partners across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts.
- Manage digital learning content in the Docebo LMS and analyse engagement using Power BI or similar tools.
- Leverage AI‑enabled learning technologies and authoring tools to create scalable commercial learning solutions.
- Partner with global learning teams to align curriculum and ensure consistent messaging.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology or related discipline (post‑graduate qualifications advantageous).
- 8+ years of experience in life sciences, diagnostics, genetics or biotechnology, including sales, field applications or technical sales enablement.
- Proven experience designing and facilitating engaging learning experiences in virtual and face‑to‑face settings.
- Previous role in learning and development, sales development, customer training or instructional design is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology and genomics workflows.
- Experience administering learning content in a Learning Management System (Docebo).
- Proficiency with digital learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to apply AI‑enabled learning technologies and digital content development tools.
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI or similar analytics tools to report learning metrics.
