Senior/Executive Engineer, Rail Cybersecurity

About the role

This role sits within the Land Transport Authority's Rail Cybersecurity team, which keeps the Land Transport Rail systems safe and secure, including Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) systems. The engineer must bring strong technical skills and industry certifications, and stay up to date with new cybersecurity solutions and practices to protect against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project-specific cybersecurity specifications based on industry best practices, prevailing cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Take part in tender evaluation of technical cybersecurity proposals and give recommendations to the tender steering committee.
• Work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity robustness of rail transport systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Stay current on the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies and best practices to continuously improve the organisation's security posture.

Required profile

• Relevant knowledge in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Team player willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in cybersecurity design, networks and Operational Technology (OT) systems is advantageous; candidates with more experience may be considered for the senior position.
