SEO Engineer (Remote)

About the role

You will own the end‑to‑end SEO system for a fast‑growing AI‑powered anime image platform used by millions worldwide. The role combines technical SEO, large‑scale data handling, and AI‑search optimization to improve crawlability, index health, and organic visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and iterate a site‑wide SEO strategy with measurable ROI.
• Manage crawl budget, index health, and UGC indexing for millions of pages.
• Make SSR and pre‑rendering decisions to boost indexing and ranking.
• Optimize for AI‑driven search, including crawler management and citation monitoring.
• Build self‑serve SEO dashboards using GSC APIs, log analysis, and internal pipelines.
• Automate monitoring, diagnostics, regression testing, and reporting with AI‑assisted coding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 2+ years of SEO experience, at least 1 year on a million‑page‑scale site.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
• Proven technical SEO case study with clear attribution and results.
