Service Engineer (CNC Machines)

About the role

DMG MORI Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer to provide maintenance, repair and installation support for its CNC machine tools. The role involves delivering technical service on‑site and remotely to ensure optimal machine performance for customers across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission DMG MORI CNC machines and components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on CNC machines to restore functionality promptly.
• Perform on‑site repairs and routine maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Prepare, generate and analyse service reports and update technical documentation.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and manage challenging situations.
• Coordinate with spare‑parts teams to ensure timely delivery of required components.
• Adhere to safety policies and train colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of field service experience with lathes and/or milling machines.
• Experience with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens or Heidenhain.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and PLC ladder diagrams.
• Proficient English communication, both verbal and written.
