ServiceNow Application Developer

About the role

PwC is seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer to join its Internal Firm Services team. You will work closely with Business Analysts and end‑users to translate requirements into robust ServiceNow solutions that support the firm’s technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to map user requirements to ServiceNow workflow processes.
• Provide technical input during solutioning workshops and design meetings.
• Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using the Now Platform App Engine, including service catalogues and workflow configurations.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), document test results, and develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
• Resolve defects identified during UAT or post‑go‑live.
• Contribute to ServiceNow Solution Architecture to ensure scalability and interoperability.
• Produce technical documentation from design through deployment for hand‑over to operations.
• Provide cross‑training on ServiceNow application development to team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• At least 8 years of IT application experience, with 3‑5 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development (client‑ and server‑side scripting).
• Proven experience integrating external applications with ServiceNow.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines without continuous supervision.
• Familiarity with other ITSM/ITBM modules in ServiceNow is a plus.
