Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will oversee and coordinate construction activities across various sites in Singapore, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This role works closely with project managers, contractors, consultants and on‑site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site progress, report delays, and keep the project on schedule.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance with codes and regulations.
• Coordinate safety measures with the safety team and address any safety concerns.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations and engineering practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Capability to work independently in a fast‑paced construction environment.
