SoC Architect

About the role

Ambiq is seeking a SoC Architect to join its Singapore team. You will be the primary architectural guide for low‑power system‑on‑chip designs, focusing on audio, imaging/display, and high‑speed interfaces. The role bridges hardware, software, and field teams to deliver world‑leading energy‑efficient AI edge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define architecture specifications, including flow diagrams, power/performance models, pseudocode, and power‑management interfaces.
• Collaborate with customers to align features and competitive positioning.
• Develop use‑case and test‑case scenarios.
• Work with the FPGA team on subsystem and interface bring‑up (audio, imaging/display, high‑speed links).
• Partner with software architects on data/control flows, APIs, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Coordinate with physical design teams for robust implementation.
• Debug design issues using RTL and gate‑level simulation.
• Support post‑silicon analysis and mass‑production delivery.

Required profile

• Experience collaborating with marketing, advanced development, and engineering groups to drive new IP adoption.
• Ability to analyze low‑power technologies and contribute to roadmap definition.
• Strong understanding of Ambiq’s architectural history and direction.
