Social Media Manager – APAC (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Skyscanner is looking for a Social Media Manager for the APAC region on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work closely with the Regional APAC team and Global Social & Community Leads to grow the brand’s social presence, engage travellers and support market launches across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage owned social activities and campaigns across multiple APAC markets, coordinating with external partners.
• Develop and execute launch plans for new APAC markets, aligning content, community and operations with business priorities.
• Oversee creation of engaging, platform‑specific content that follows brand guidelines and localises global campaigns.
• Lead community management, guiding external partners to respond to comments, messages and user‑generated content.
• Research emerging local platforms, assess feasibility and impact, and recommend expansion opportunities.
• Identify cultural moments and social trends, collaborating with partners to translate them into actionable ideas.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media for APAC markets or similar regions.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and ability to turn insights into content strategies.
• Excellent collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on‑site activities.
